Careful Where You Get Your Advice
Life can be hard sometimes, and often we turn to people for advice, but are you turning to the wrong people? You should never take information from someone who has never been in your situation or is the opposite of what you want to be. Instead, look for guidance from those you look up to and want to become, not those you feel sorry for.
Just because you care about and love someone does not mean you can trust them. Not everyone’s judgment is sound, especially if they are going through severe hardships. For example, you would never take financial advice from someone poor. Same reason why you don’t take parenting advice from someone who isn’t a parent. They do not know what they are talking about. So consider your sources because you have one life and their advice will only alter your life, not theirs.
